The present moment is the only place that life truly exists. Right now is the moment you have been waiting for.
Word of the Week: Now
You are now. You are here. Present moment, stay there.
Over my many years of meditating, I have learned a lot from my meditation practice. Most thoughts you are thinking about today have been of events that have happened in the past or future worries that have not occurred. These past and future thoughts take you out of the present moment. Meditation taught me that.
To truly be here right now, tune into your body and breath. Be in your body. Be with your breath.
You may have to come back to this simple practice over and over again when you begin to notice that the mind starts to wonder. That can happen in the middle of any activity you do, whether you're in meditation or typing an email.
The more you can be here now, in this very moment of existence, the more you realize that the present moment is the only place that life truly exists.
