Mantra for Moms: I Accept Help

Updated: Dec 6

Gratitude isn’t just for Thanksgiving. Learn how helping others and receiving help is connected to gratitude. Start with the mantra: "I accept help."

Julie M. Gentile mantra of the week
"I accept help." Give thanks to any help that comes your way and extend that gratitude to others.

Gratitude isn’t just for Thanksgiving. In fact, September 21 is World Gratitude Day—not even in the month of November. Often with gratitude comes help—help you can give to others and help other people can extend to you.

It’s not always easy to ask for help even though you know you may need it sometimes. You might have learned to do everything on your own at all costs. Accepting help takes courage.

Help comes in various forms—from yourself, other people and the universe.

Graciously accept every offer of help, big or small, as it is a gift to you.

Get your journal and a pen and find a quiet spot. What do you need help with most right now? When someone offers you help, do you push it away or do you embrace it?
