October 10 is World Mental Health Day—a reminder of the importance of mental health and well-being and that you are more than your physical self. There are so many layers to you—emotional, mental, spiritual and beyond. You can’t take care of only one part and expect the rest to follow without giving those other parts of time and attention, too.
It’s easy to attach to labels. A mom. A business owner, a writer, a teacher. Whatever it is, these are part of who you may be but you are not defined by them. You are so much more than your body, mind and thoughts.
