In a mindful way, you can help change the world, or at least the world around you and in your own home. How? By choosing to respond instead of reacting out of habit.
As a mom who works full-time-plus hours, it’s very easy to react to what’s in front of me instead of taking a breath and a step back and responding from a place of understanding and compassion.
Think about when you get an email. Do you immediately reply, or do you take some time to digest what you’re reading before you respond?
Reacting is a cycle that’s difficult to break.
Before you respond, take a minute, take a breath.
